Who is responsible
THE EN FOUNDATION, an association governed by the French law of 1 July 1901, registered under RNA number W923012573, whose registered office is at 45 bis rue des Peupliers, 92100 Boulogne-Billancourt, France, is the controller of the personal data described on this page. You can reach us at theenfoundation@gmail.com.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into the contact form:
- your name
- your email address
- the subject you choose
- your message
Our host also keeps short technical logs, such as IP addresses, to keep the site running and secure. We don’t ask you to create an account, and we don’t collect anything else about you.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your details to read your message and reply to it, for example about a membership application, a partnership or a press request. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR). Technical logs rest on our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
We don’t sell your details, share them for marketing, or add you to a mailing list.
Who receives it
Only the members of the Foundation who handle your request read your message. Our service providers process data on our behalf and only for this purpose:

Transfers outside the European Union
Our host is based in the European Union. If one of our providers processes data outside the EU, the transfer is covered by safeguards recognised by the GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
We keep your message for 12 months after our last exchange, then delete it. If you become a member or partner, we keep what is needed for as long as that relationship lasts.
Cookies
This website does not use cookies, analytics or any other tracking. Our fonts are served from this website, so loading a page sends nothing to Google or other third parties.
Links to Instagram, WhatsApp, X, Substack and Google Forms take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act (loi Informatique et Libertés), you can ask to access the data we hold about you, correct it, have it deleted, restrict its use, object to it, or receive it in a portable format. Write to us at theenfoundation@gmail.com. We will reply within one month, and may ask you to prove your identity if we have a reasonable doubt.
If you think we have not respected your rights, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés), 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, France, www.cnil.fr.
Young people
Many of the people we work with are young. If you are under 15, please ask a parent or guardian before sending us your personal details.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your data, we will update this page and the date at the top.
